Head of Networks – Leading Global Hedge Fund
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Leading Global Hedge Fund seeks an experienced and forward thinking Head of Networks. You will ideally have previous experience in a global enterprise environment and managed senior staff. If you are an experienced Network Manager/Director/Head who has experience in a global environment then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Leading and growing the team charged with the research, development, and standardization of networking capabilities (tools, technologies, products, and protocols) on a global basis.
- Direct the construction of extensive development lab, including all networking gear, test tools, and systems.
- Direct projects to reduce costs using new designs and equipment.
- Utilize and contribute to next generation low latency core WAN architecture.
- Create and implement new standards processes and knowledge management system for global standards.
- Create and present strategic recommendations and performance culture analyses to firm’s CEO and C-suite.
- Contributor to global architecture council.
