Head of Operation for Shared Service Centre recruitment
A world leading commodity trading company operates its business across more than 50 countries with 80+ offices globally. With a turnover of US$122 billion in 2011, we traded over 2.3 million barrels a day of oil and petroleum products and shipped 26.7million tonnes of non-ferrous and bulk commodities.
To build up a business shared service centre, they are looking for a head of operation for SSC. You will be amongst the top leaders in Global Services and will lead the set up and entire delivery of operations for the China SSC. A key responsibility would be to pragmatically interface between legal entities in China and other global entities where required. You are required to understand the different business processes existing in various entities and thereby establishing a robust and sustainable operations framework. You will be responsible for measuring and managing performance, work on strategic initiatives, build strong relationship with onshore teams, and drive employee satisfaction and champion improvement projects and costs.
To successfully work in this aggressive and dynamic company, you need to have around 15 years of demonstrated experience in a leading multinational with the complexity of managing a multi process operation. You shall have outstanding business acumen and the ability to link people, processes and technical business outcomes. Ability to operate at both conceptual and working levels is required. You need proven track record in on-going management of operations and ability to lead teams of senior professionals as well as large teams of associates to meet strict operating deadlines and challenging productivity targets.
