Head of Operational Risk – Security Services recruitment
The purpose of the team is to identify, quantify and manage the Operational Risk profile of the business as well as ensuring a robust secondary control infrastructure and discharge their mandated OR responsibilities. The Head of Operational Risk Security Services will establish a global team and supporting framework for monitoring, oversight and relationship with direct and indirect staff.
• The incumbent will play a key role in managing the Operational Risk profile Globally
• The individual will play a key advisory role in all strategic business development/change projects
• The individual will be responsible for oversight and challenge of senior management discharging responsibilities for managing operational risk within stated organisational appetite
• The individual will be responsible for oversight of the Business Risk and Control programmes for security services
Key stakeholders for the Head of Operational Risk are Securities Services, Payments and Cash Management Business Heads, CFOs, Business Managers and Senior Management in support areas.
The successful candidate will have extensive industry experience in a securities services, custody and/or fund administration institution. The understanding of advanced operational risk frameworks must be very strong and they must have superior knowledge of the control environment surrounding securities services, custody and fund administration.
As this is a leadership position the successful candidate must also have excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills and the requisite confidence to deal with and influence senior and executive staff
