Head of Operational Risk and Control recruitment
An experienced Operational Risk professional is required to assist senior management in the effective identification, quantification and management of the operational risk profiles and internal controls for Securities, Payments and Cash Management business lines through the consistent implementation of ORM frameworks.
The incumbent will play a key role in the management of this function globally ensuring the businesses manage the respective businesses in line with the ORM framework as well as ensuring a secondary control infrastructure remain effective. The function will perform independent reviews and provide assurance that key controls are designed and operating effectively. In addition, a lead will be taken in providing advisory services around strategic business development and change projects. The incumbent would be expected to manage relationships with other associated control functions as well as acting as a relationship manager for various business executives.
The individual will have an understanding of advanced operational risk frameworks (ideally AMA compliant) and be familiar with associated processes and controls within complex financial services firms.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills are required as this role will deal with Executive and C-Level internal staff.
