Head Of Operational Risk, Foreign Investment Bank recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Work with Chief Operational Risk Officer to complete mapping of all operational risks across business and related control/support areas to ensure risk profile meets standard of Head Office risk methodology. Create consolidated internal Operational Risk reporting and dashboards
• Ensure the ongoing function of implemented Operational Risk policies and procedures for US businesses and their alignment with Head Office risk methodology.
• Identify and report on potential risks emerging in US Businesses, evaluate existing controls and devise risk resolutions. Develop and manage the roll-out of action plans to minimize future risks.
• Investigate Risk Incidents and accurately report on causes, process failures and business implications as well as solutions to close issues.
• Identify and analyze Key Risk indicators and verify appropriateness and thresholds of KRIs.
• Participate in and prepare agenda and minutes for various corporate committees including quarterly Operation Risk Committee, New Product Committee and Trade platform project committee.
• Manage project for new trading platform and intake requests related to roll-out of platform.
• Act as contact for project managers administering the Head Office’s proprietary system, capture and maintain Operational Risk incidents, action plan, KRI and Risk Mapping.
• Establish relationships with business and control stakeholders and train representatives to correspond on Operational Risk issues
Requirements:
• 8-10+ years of experience with an Investment Bank or related financial services organization
• Proven ability to understand and identify key risks in an Investment Banking/ Sales Trading environment
• Prior leadership experience in an Operational Risk function
• Strong understanding of Key Risk Indicators, Risk Incidents and Risk Mapping concepts and methodologies
• Demonstrated effective project management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
