Head of Operational Risk recruitment
Our client is a leading Asset Management firm in the City, and is currently seeking a confident, knowledgeable individual to become a senior member in its busy and growing Operational Risk team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, improve and maintain the operational risk management processes
- Continue to develop and maintain the organisations ICAAP framework
- Coordinating and managing Internal/External Assurance process with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide support and oversight for key operational risk projects and priorities.
- Cooperate in the continuous development of the organisations corporate governance framework
- Coordinating the SSAE 16/ SAS70 assurance testing to third parties
Ideal candidates profile:
- Strong working knowledge of operational risk management within asset management (including ICAAP framework)
- Experience within financial services, within project and business process analysis experience
- Experience with risk-based testing or audit preferable
- Professional qualifications such as IMC, CFA, ACA would be hugely advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a strong desire to develop your career within a dynamic business environment
