As Head of Operational Strategy, you'll be responsible for supporting the Chief Operating Office and the Business and Commercial businesses in taking strategic decisions with particular focus and insight on channel strategy, system architecture, investment portfolio and operating model design. You'll be part of a broader ‘virtual’ strategy team between the CEO office, Commercial and Business Banking and our Lombard and Invoice Finance businesses. You'll have day to day contact with Executives, other strategy team members, central functions (eg Strategy Architecture) and the front line businesses. This will ensure you drive and support plans and report on our progress to meet our strategic aims.
To be successful as Head of Operational Strategy, it's essential you have previous management experience of a statistical and analytical team, and of influencing at Senior level. You'll also preferably have statistical / mathematical modelling experience. And experience of measurement and research techniques, as well as SAS / SQL. Ideally, you'll also have previously worked within a Retail Head Office environment.
