Head of Operations – Asset Management recruitment
Our client is a leading Financial Holdings with principal business engages in Brokerage, Corporate Finance and Asset Management with SFC license for RA type 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 9. In support of their aggressively expanding Asset Management business they are hiring for below position to head the operations team.
Head of Operations, Asset Management
Reporting directly to Senior Management, the right candidate will head a team of around 5 members in performing full spectrum of accounting operation support for the Asset Management business covering:
- New Fund Launching - to coordinate with internal / external parties, including investment advisors, legal counsel, prime broker, custodian and auditor etc, in relation to new account setup, operation workflow, service agreements and related legal documents
- Portfolio Valuation – to supervise daily NAV, monthly valuation and reconciliation with prime broker and fund administrator, bank reconciliation, settlement cashflow management
- Accounting – to prepare financial reports, annual filings and perform fund audit
- Risk Compliance – to provide accurate valuation and transaction reports to Risk Compliance team when required
- Others – to coordinate and maintain accurate information of managed/investment accounts and distributors
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree holder or above with professional qualification preferred
- Minimum 10 years of fund operations and accounting experience in Asset Management sector with strong supervisory experience
- Experience of handling new fund launching highly desired
- Familiar with operation flow and accounting procedure for various investment products and fund type
- Practical knowledge of Portia system a plus
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
