Our client, a leading Brokerage firm with an established presence in Asia, is looking for a talented manager to lead their Operations Department in Hong Kong. With a wide range of products including equities, fixed income and futures as well as a well-rounded client base, this is an interesting opportunity to further your career.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Operations team including all aspects of investment operations and administration of retail unit trusts. In addition you would be responsible for participating in new product and service launches as well as managing risk, standards and controls. As part of the senior management team you would design and implement the budget and strategic plans for the business and set out clear service standards and benchmarks for Operations. Managing a department of more than 30 staff you will have strong leadership and management skills.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- 12+ years Investment Operations and Unit Trust Admin experience
- Strong people management experience
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential
- Graduate calibre candidate
- Strong controls focus and risk management skills
- Project Management skills
- Strong product knowledge across a range of products including equities, listed and OTC derivatives, mutual funds and structured products
