Head of Operations & Client Servicing – Asset Management recruitment

As they continue to develop their Asia Pacific product offering and infrastructure they are looking to hire a Head of Operations and Client Servicing to drive key initiatives to implement business focused strategies that will achieve operational excellence and underpin continued growth.

With an outsourced operational model currently in place you will manage the relationships with the key service providers for asset servicing and global custody, ensuring service level agreements are maintained so that net asset values are reported in a timely and accurate fashion.

Managing a team of client servicing professionals, you will manage a dedicated portfolio of clients, responsible for the on-going day to day servicing.  Partnering closely with the sales and relationship management team, you will own the business qualification and implementation process for new institutional clients in Hong Kong.  Ensuring accurate capture of their requirements and developing a clear project plan, you will co-ordinate with key stakeholders both internally and externally during the on-boarding process with the objective being absolute client satisfaction.

As the organisation expands, the Head of Operations and Client Servicing will ensure the operational frameworks are in place to facilitate business growth and be responsible for documenting procedures and processes, have oversight of operational risk and a developing a robust business continuity plan.  This role will develop and expand as part of the Hong Kong leadership team.

To be considered for this critical role you will require:

• 10-15 years asset management operations/client servicing experience;

• Analytical mind-set and strong attention to detail with the ability to balance  client requirements against organisational constraints providing alternative solutions;

• Able to work under pressure motivating a team to meet tight delivery  deadlines;

• Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese or Mandarin, highly responsive and committed to client delivery
