Head of Operations (based in KL, Malaysia)
This is a new, exciting and permanent opportunity based in Malaysia with a global IT services company. This organization has already a large presence in APAC and as part of their growth strategy they are expanding their footprint in KL to better service their enterprise customers in the region and globally.
Main scope of the role:
The role holder has leadership accountability for the KL based delivery centre growth, transformation strategy and supporting delivery implementation. He/she will develop long and short term business plans for expansion and is responsible for enabling a high performance environment. He/she will recruit, mentor, manage and motivate the operations team and will provide technical and strategic thought leadership to directors within the business groups.
Skills/Experience:
- MBA qualification and track record building and managing large technology team and experience working inMalaysiais a must
- Leadership experience in large IT companies
- Experience managing cost centers and over 300+ employees
- Excellent people manager and strong execution skills
- Developing long term partnerships both internally and externally
- Provides strategic direction/vision across functions
