The role holder will:

Have the ability to envision, communicate and champion change
Provide strong and consistent leadership
Understand the balance between commercial imperatives and operational controls in a highly regulated industry that is constantly under scrutiny
Be familiar with financial markets, systems and operations
Have a comprehensive understanding of investments in particular from an administrative and accounting perspective
Have a knowledge of Irish financial regulation and its application to life insurance companies
Have an advanced understanding of the investment and life assurance industries
Have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
Display a strong attention to detail

Required / Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Minimum of 10 years related business sector experience of which typically 5 years at Operations Management level
Typically holds accounting or similar level professional qualification
