- Oversees the implementation of the annual operations plan for the WP IP Areas
- Implementing a culture and programme of continuous improvement

The role holder will:

- Be familiar with financial markets, systems and operations
- Have a comprehensive understanding of investments in particular from an administrative and accounting perspective
- Have a knowledge of Irish financial regulation and its application to life insurance companies
- Have an advanced understanding of the investment and life assurance industries
- Have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Display a strong attention to detail

Required / Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Minimum of 10 years related business sector experience of which typically 5 years at Operations Management level
- Typically holds accounting or similar level professional qualification
