The Head of Operations Retail Wealth and Private Bank is an integral member of the Singapore senior leadership team. Central to this role is the management of the operational support units including Liability, Wealth Private Bank Operations, Asset Deliver Channel Operations, Collections and Fraud Operations, Credit Initiation Operations and Branch Operations. As a senior leader, you will assist ANZ in delivering the super regional bank strategy. This will largely mean being responsible for the processes that deliver products and services to our customers.

The successful candidate will provide improvement and operational change management support for the Retail, Wealth Private Bank Businesses. Optimising operation efficiencies to assist in delivering services to our clients in the most cost effective manner. You will manage operational risk through identified key controls, review of business process documentation whilst ensuring you adhere to the governance framework. The key is to deliver bottom line business growth and performance improvement whilst also meeting budget forecast targets for costs and headcount.

The ability to build close working relationships within Retail, Wealth and Private Bank Operations through effective communication skills to drive service excellence as well as operating efficiencies is imperative. This will require you to understand relevant business strategies to ensure Operations is adequately sourced and supported with respect to resources and people skills.

Qualifications:
We are looking to hire an individual with a minimum of 15 years Retail Banking experience who has gained in depth process knowledge of at least 2 of the following operational areas; Global Banking Operations, Retail Operations or Institutional Operations coupled with strong product knowledge.

Proven people management skills, problem resolution skills and leadership skills will be mandatory.
