Head of Palm Oil Trading
Our client, a leading Asian supplier and trade house are expanding into the Chinese market and are looking for someone to head up their Palm Oil trading team in Asia. They want someone with good contacts in the market who can develop a business and present their business plan for this. The role can be based in either China or Singapore but needs someone who is a very senior trader in the Palm Oil space and also is Mandarin speaking.
Responsibilities for the Head of Trading position:
• Lead the trading team into the Chinese markets
• Trade Palm Oil in the Chinese market
• Maintain and build relationships with key buyers and suppliers of Palm Oil specifically
• Manage a team of traders and to run a trading book focusing on Palm Oil
Skills / Attributes required for the Head of Trading position in Singapore:
• 7+ years of experience trading in Asia
• Be able to develop a Chinese business running the Palm Oil book
• Consistently high trading volumes of Palm Oil.
• Mandarin Speaking
