Head of Payments – Corporate recruitment
Develop the payments team to be the leaders in reliability, resilience and assurance of end to end payments
Attend quarterly meetings with Bank of England regarding oversight issues
Early engagement with the BoE on expectations to ensure both a consistent approach across the schemes and that deliverables are managed in a coordinated way, in line with Payments Council’s view.
Consult with BoE on approach of Payments work plan.
Be actively engaged in planning for the future market-wide activities.
Review best practices in the business continuity and payments integrity industry to ensure all schemes and business units are adhering to the relevant practices, where applicable.
Attend appropriate workshops and seminars to stay abreast of the latest ideas in this field.
Be seen to be actively involved with business continuity and resilience community.
Horizon scanning - Monitor, and report on, the latest trends and threats.
Plan and deliver a programme of activities in support of the Payments Council work on cross scheme integrity in consultation with members and BoE.
Provide consultancy support to each of the schemes and business units.
Develop, publish and promote best practices across the schemes.
Actively promote the sharing of information cross scheme in relation to integrity.
Work with the schemes on BoE Expectations.
