Head of Payments & Receivables Technology recruitment

Job Description:

Ø Translate business strategy into work programs and processes.

Ø Directs and manages a team of project managers and team leaders in providing production and development support of payments and receivables applications.

Ø Initiatiates and provides leadership, strategic and technical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues and in the development of an IT environment which meets current and anticipated business requirements and objectives.

Ø Participates with IT Management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the business/client area.

Ø Supports Cash Receivables Delivery Managers in providing technology solutions to achieve strategic objectives across functional groups or within a business group.

Ø Partner with global or cross regional technology to develop and implement programs, projects or processes to address current and future business needs.

Ø Drive alignment of initiatives towards global and regional technology roadmap and strategy.

Ø Provides technical leadership for work teams in specialized functional or process areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Ø Should possess a Bachelor’s degree/Masters’ degree in Engineering/Computer Science/IT degree or related disciplines.

Ø A minimum of 12+ years of experience.

Ø A minimum of 3 years of experience as Senior Technology Manager/Project Lead.

Ø Expertise in Cash Management especially in Payments and Receivables Product area.

Ø A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a application developer/programmer, analyst/designer in a financial environment.

Ø Experience of successfully facing off to senior business leaders and technology executives.

Ø Demonstrable experience of working to resolution complex issues involving multiple groups and business priorities.

Ø Strong analytical skills required and should have a natural ability to research and resolve complex systems, applications and business issues.

Ø Strong matrix management skills including influence, conflict resolution and negotiation.

Ø Proven and established associate/talent performance management experience essential.

Ø Experience of international payments clearings and technology used to process payments (Example – Swift) is very much needed.

Ø Good knowledge of MS Office Products.

Ø Must be able to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, use own initiatives and motivation to meet deadlines and set priorities without close supervision.

Ø Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.

Ø Must be results-driven, proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible.

Ø Good spoken and written English with clear oral communication skills are very much needed.

Ø Excellent relationship building and networking skills.

Ø Experience with at least one project methodology (SDLC/Agile).
