Our Tax division is seeking a high performing, experienced Senior Manager in Human Resources to build upon strong strategic relationships with key stakeholders to drive the people agenda forward. Reporting to the Head of People, Performance Culture, you will be responsible for delivering KPMG’s “Best Firm to Work With” strategy to the Tax business by providing high quality advisory and pragmatic human resources practices, and managing HR service delivery to minimise risk and contribute to the division’s effectiveness and success.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
- Managing the human resources delivery to the division within firm-wide frameworks, taking ownership of the delivery of people/culture initiatives within the division and partnering with the Tax National Managing Partner, Tax executive team and COO on the development of these initiatives.
- Developing specific divisional plans, models and metrics to ensure business objectives are met and overseeing the execution of firm processes including annual performance and reward management cycles and performance counselling
- Providing advice to Partners and Managers on a variety of Human resource issues including employee relations and employee engagement and ensuring people at all levels are fully aware of their roles and responsibilities in all people/culture programs and initiatives, including performance and people management programs.
As the successful candidate you will possess a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline, and have extensive broad based human resources management experience gained in a corporate of professional services environment. Commercially astute, with solid generalist credentials and excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills, you will be keen to make a valuable contribution to the business.
