POSITION OVERVIEW
The PMA business is responsible for developing and delivering data and software content as well as professional services to equity investment professionals worldwide to help them achieve their investment and risk management objectives. Our content takes the form of risk models, portfolio analytics (e.g., portfolio construction) and other types of analytics and tools to support portfolio management and risk measurement.
As Head of the EMEAI business, you will be responsible for defining, developing and implementing its commercial agenda. Key responsibilities include product pricing and positioning, working with the Sales organization to support product launches, win new business and retain current business, developing and establishing important client relationships, and identifying market trends to ensure that our product development program captures opportunities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnering with client coverage, marketing, development, and PMA clients to prioritize, develop, and deliver products by:
- Assessing market size, needs (including problem identification) and competitive intensity for market segment through market research and competitive intelligence assessments
- Meeting regularly with clients to understand needs and opportunities
- Collaborating with the Business Units, Sales, and Finance to prepare Business Cases Pro Forma Financials for potential projects
- Defining market/business requirements and problem identification
Managing the launch of PMA products to ensure the effective implementation and successful performance of products
- Working collaboratively with various internal departments to establish effective programs, pricing plans, packaging positioning, training materials, and Sales/Marketing Materials
- Providing proactive support to Client Coverage and Marketing, including co-development of marketing and sales presentations, web casts, public speaking, and participation in client meetings
- Develop and maintain short- long-term strategic plans for the penetration and share-of-market goals for assigned geographic market segments, including vision, roadmap, specific products required to achieve objectives, expected pricing and pro forma financial targets
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
- Established leader as a commercial or business manager for a leading financial services company.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a product or business manager or other relevant experience related to risk management, portfolio management trading.
- Familiarity working with Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Asset Owners (e.g., Pension Funds)
- Specific expertise in portfolio and risk management analytics.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Successfully implemented business improvements across multiple areas of the business
- Experience with new product/solution development
- Client focus – Proactive relationship management focused on understanding client needs and how PMA solutions help meet those needs;
- Excels at teamwork. Work successfully in a matrix organization with internal PMA and MSCI business operations, client service, marketing, and sales teams; build a collaborative environment for providing timely implementation of new solutions and services to meet market needs
