Head of Prime Services Support

My client, a leading investment bank, is seeking a Head of Prime Services Support to be the global team lead for Prime Services Execution.

The Prime Services team manage the production environment for the Prime Services trading applications on a global scale. You will be managing a team providing 1st and 2nd line support for the Futures and Equities areas. The team work closely with front-office trading and sales people.

The role will entail; running the day to day production environment, contributing to wider liquid market initiatives, people management including career development and coaching, and maintaining strong internal relationships. You will also maintain an incident and problem management approach, and driving improvement for capacity management, release management and 'run' projects.

Required skills:

-Experience as a team lead in a high transaction volume technical role
-Futures and Equities business knowledge
-Proven ability to manage global teams (circa 10-15 individuals)
-Operation of a zero-touch production operation and one click deployment
-Knowledge of software development
-Experience with high transaction, low latency trading platforms
-Technical background to ideally include Java, C++, Linux, Windows, Databases and Scripting (Perl, Python, Bash)
-Problem Solving skills, root cause analysis and business process improvement
