Our client is a listed company and one of the world's largest players in the commercial real estate industry with offices across the globe.

To participate in the organization's development in Belgium, our client is looking for a Head of Private Fund Management to play a key role in its Investment Management division.

Job Description

Working directly with the entity's CEO and very closely with the Heads of the Investment Management cells, the Head of Private Fund Management's is responsible for developing activities towards the private clients segment :

- Defining the business development strategy in terms of market segmentation, positioning and offer;

- Leading and conducting the 'on-field" business development by prospecting and advising (U)HNWI and family offices in order to raise equity;

- Serving as the internal and external expert of the Private clients segment by staying up to date on market trends, participating in relevant fairs and events, and developing a network of key stakeholders in the industry;

The Head of Private Funding serves as an ambassador of the organization towards (U)HNWI and family offices. He/She is recognized as an expert and valuable advisor by the his/her clients as well as by all the stakeholders of the real estate industry.

Depending on the level of performance delivered, the ambitions of the chosen individual, and the skills demonstrated, the Head of Private Fund Management will become responsible for the day-to-day management of the funds of their respective teams.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Head of Private Fund Management must demonstrate :

- University degree or higher level education in a relevant field (Tax, Law, Economics, Finance... );

- At least 10 to 15 years of experience in wealth management, developing and advising a portfolio of (U)HNWI and family offices across Belgium;

- Expertise in the real estate sector and/or in real estate investment products is a preferred;

- Any additional technical financial skill is a plus;

- A true consultative sales approach based on thorough study and analysis of client needs and client profile;

- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English, French, and Dutch is mandatory;

- Strong market knowledge and understanding of market trends;

- Entrepreneurial "can-do" attitude with a combination of strategic market vision and operational "hands-on" approach;

- Impeccable business ethics and discretion, with a "client comes first" mindset.
