Due to internal movement, we are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Head of Product Management, Global Payments and Cash Management (PCM), Australia. Reporting to the Head of Global Payments Cash Management Australia and the Regional Head of Product in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the range of PCM products to meet the needs of the Bank's Corporate Institutional clients to enhance the Bank's cash management business.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the profitability of all PCM products and services;
- Planning, directing and organising PCM product management resources to ensure that they contribute to the overall objectives of PCM;
- Developing and executing product and segment strategies that will drive revenue and market share;
- Working with the Regional Product Team in developing plans to close local product gaps and enhance competitiveness;
- Ensuring that all products comply with local regulations, HSBC group policies and internal procedures;
- Improving HSBC's profile, market share and 'share of mind' in the marketplace;
- Contributing to the development and growth of the PCM business in the region;
- Leading, managing and developing a team of specialist product managers;
- Working collaboratively with the Heads of Sales and Client Management to provide leadership within the PCM business and the broader bank.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised tertiary qualification in Finance or a related field;
- A minimum of ten years' cash management experience, with at least six years in product management;
- A proven ability to deliver revenue and profitability growth;
- Highly developed leadership skills with experience in motivating, retaining and developing people;
- A demonstrated ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels and across functions;
- A high level of commercial acumen, with strong competitor and customer insight.
- Strong project management skills.
