Head of Property Design and Maintenance Job in Peterborough, Anglia UK

One of the UK`s leading maintenance providers to the Public and Utilities Sector currently require a Head of Property Design and Maintenance based in Peterborough

Main Function of Job:

Be responsible for the Professional Services team. Ensuring that KPI`s and budgets are met and the service is actively expanded within the area through the identification of opportunities and threats.

Key Objectives:

- Management of the Professional Services Team, delivering Design Project Management Service and Property Management Services
- Ensure the efficient and effective management of the team to deliver all services and commissions within the Fee budgets
- Ensure professional standards of management of the services are achieved to ensure compliance and delivery to performance, quality and cost objectives
- Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction
- Implement cultural change programme to support transfer of team to become a commercial professional services organisation
- Secure planned sales across all service stream
- Develop new customer relationships
- To import innovative thinking and ideas into the wider commercial team within the Division.
- To be communicate effectively and be able to present at Board level; able to justify viewpoints and challenge the norm in an engaging, professional manner.
- Any other duties commensurate with the position.
- To comply with all Company Policies and procedures including health and safety.

Key Skills:

- Background in Design and Property Management of 10 years plus
- Experience of managing a team of professionals
- Direct service delivery experience of significant contracts £10m pa plus
- Direct service delivery experience of Reactive Maintenance, Statutory Inspection Testing and Asset Management Projects
- Direct experience of commercial role on a number of contracts
- Experience of working with skilled tradesmen and operatives
- Combination of Public Sector and Private Sector customers
- Experience of NEC, JCT and Bespoke FM Contracts
- Track record of introducing innovation
- Bidding experience
- Leadership
- FM Process knowledge and development

Essential Qualifications required:

- HNC/HND or Degree
- Professional qualification: RICS; RIBA; MICE; BIFM
- Possible MBA, mixed with current hands on experience as above
