Join a major international bank with long established presence in the GCC and Qatar who are aggressively expanding this year. Due to an internal promotion this is a great chance to take an existing team to the next level and work closely with Senior Management.
As a Head of Qatar Corporate you will be reporting to the County Head, this autonomous role will see you build an established corporate business that provides wide range products; from project, contracting finance, syndications, transactional banking and trade finance.
You will put in place strategy to lead and grow a team of RMs and Senior RM’s across the region leveraging off this renowned banking brand to win new business and increase wallet share with the existing portfolio. You will also have full PL responsibility and oversee the credit and risk exposure of the business.
As growth targets are met, the team and your role will grow consistently offering a challenging environment to utilise your broad range of skills in strategy, credit and operations.
Your current profile may be a Unit Head / Regional Manager who is looking for a chance to move into a growing role. Your experience must be in commercial / corporate banking. You will need work experience from a mature banking hub in Europe with London being the preference. Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
