Full Job Description
Rare opportunity to work with one of Europe's largest Housing Groups managing the Rent Service Charge function. The role will require you to manage a large team in a dynamic and challenging environment, overseeing the Rent and Service Charge processes and working closely with the FD to develop and implement strategic policy. In order to fulfil this role successfully, the candidate must have acquired the following skillset:
Sound knowledge and practical experience of setting rent and service charges in the context of the rent restructuring regime.
*Experience of administering a variable service charging regime.
*Substantial experience of team and change management.
*Experience of handling complex Leasehold Valuation Tribunal cases, preparation and presentation experience.
*Experience of budget setting, monitoring and control.
*Experience of managing major works and long term agreements consultation and related legal requirements.
*Experience of developing appropriate policies, procedures and customer information.
*Thorough knowledge of leasehold legislation and the principles of leasehold accounting.
*Experience of managing a team.
*A sound knowledge of spreadsheets (excel) and accounting software (Sun Accounts).
*Ability to effectively communicate financial concepts/statistics to non-finance staff.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets for multiple projects.
