Head of Reporting & Analysis recruitment

Responsibilities:

This is a management role responsible for all aspects of the Corporate Banking reporting requirements with an emphasis on the delivery of local finance support for tactical and strategic projects.  You will manage the monthly performance management process across the Corporate Bank, advise the business on financial performance and employ sophisticated techniques to present the forward looking view of the business.  You'll also play a central role within a number of change programmes and ensure robust financial input to these projects.

It is also important that you ensure the business receives appropriate accounting advice, financial expertise to assist commercial decision making, and finance input into investment ideas and strategies.

Essential Requirements:

We require a qualified accountant (although could consider someone "qualified by experience").  It is essential that you have a strong banking background.  Your banking experience must be gained within finance - it is likely that you will have strong business partnering, management reporting, management accounting or MI reporting experience.  It is also preferable that you understand accounting treatments including IAS.

You must be a credible communicator to a senior audience and have proven people management skills.
