Head of Reporting and Analysis
The role is responsible for all aspects of corporate banking reporting requirements and the local Finance delivery and oversight of tactical and strategic projects, including Business and Finance change programmes. This role requires the development and maintenance of strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholder including the Business, local and Divisional Finance teams.
- Responsible for all aspects of the monthly performance management process for theCorporate BankingBusiness
- Proactively informing, advising and challenging the Business on financial performance and underlying issues, and highlighting key areas for improved performance (including income growth, cost reduction, RWA utilisation, returns) across the business
- Using activity drivers and WIP data to inform a forward looking view of the Business
- Oversee the performance management, budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes - Play an active role in major Business and Finance change programmes, ensure appropriate Finance input is provided and that Finance delivers on its commitments
- Provide input to the formulation of investment ideas, support and challenge the relevant assumptions and options. Also ensure an appropriate investment appraisal is undertaken, and the monitoring and tracking of costs and benefits on all initiatives.

Qualified Accountant - Strong technical knowledge, including preparation of accounts under IAS
- Ability to operate with credibility at MD and Board level
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to operate effectively within an environment of change
- Proven people management skills
- Confident to operate independently and demonstrate flexibility
- Good understanding of processes and procedures to support the integrity of financial and management information
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of Walker and Khaliz-INEA
Knowledge of banking products
A major Corporate and Investment Bank
