Investment Evaluation and Recommendations Support the General Portfolio (GP) team in preparation and regular review of overall investment strategy.Support the General Portfolio team in leading in depth evaluation and due diligence of investment opportunities, managing internal and external advisors Support Directors in negotiationand structuring of opportunities which they decide to pursue.
Follow-up Due Diligence Help ensure all due diligence expectations set by this leading organisation and regulations are verified and met, further assisting the General Portfolio team in appropriate decision making and moving the project forward.
Business Planning Support Support the General Portfolio team in preparation of detailed business plans in relation to new investments.
Portfolio Management and performance reporting Monitor operational and financial performance of assigned investments and prepare regular reports on the portfolio's performance by entity, geography and asset segment.
Analyse and monitor KPIs and ad hoc targets and ensure non performing investments are flagged appropriately.
Assist the General Portfolio team in the development of options for optimizing value of individual investments e.g., restructuring, additional funding, MA or divestment, Prepare board memos detailing such recommendations in conjunction with the Associate Directors and Directors.
Maintain in depth and up to date market Knowledge Develop market knowledge in specific industry sectors through regular reading and research
Keep abreast of significant transactions, sales and financing activity and if necessary commission bespoke research.
Knowledge Transfer Ensure all relevant experience and knowledge is transferred to the team to build a highly professional and knowledgeable workforce.
Policies Procedures and Systems Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
Continuous Improvement Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Investment systems, processes and practices taking into account 'international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
