As a result of a full review of Kiwibank’s growth platform and business strategies, the Chief Risk Officer has rolled out a new structure for the risk department creating a new layer of leadership that will enhance risk culture and practices across the bank and have a meaningful impact on the organisation by driving and supporting strategic growth.

The Head of Retail Credit is a senior leadership position based in Wellington, New Zealand (with placement in Auckland for the right candidate) and reporting to the CRO. You will be a strong leader with experience elevating teams and able to maintain key executive relationships internally and externally. You will have responsibility for improving and streamlining the current retail risk frameworks that will provide opportunities for increased business efficiencies and continued growth in the retail sector, but just as importantly will be an effective leader.

To be successful in this role, you will be a seasoned risk professional with a relevant tertiary degree and at least 10 years experience in banking. You must have proven experience in leading a team as well as experience enhancing and implementing credit risk platforms within a bank (preferably in the Retail Credit area).
