A leading Asset Manager has an opening within their Finance function for a Manager/Director of Compensation Accounting.
The role is looking for a qualified accountant who will lead the strategy and development of a centre of expertise on reward and benefits issue and assume the role of in house authority on the financial and non-financial aspects of bonus and share schemes.
This role requires an individual with a high level of planning and project management skills with the intellectual capacity to absorb and understand industry rewards related issues and apply this knowledge internally.
You will be responsible for managing the annual salary and bonus processes including governance meetings throughout the year whilst overseeing the financial modelling of the incentive pool, incorporating the final year end calculations, regular forecasts, monthly accounting entries and executive support.
This role requires excellent business partnering skills with regards to HR internally and external providers, advisers, lawyers and consultants on remuneration and benefits issues.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of reward and benefits packages, their construction, administration and taxation
Financial Services experience is an absolute priority.
