Head of RFP recruitment

SWIP is the fund management arm of Lloyds Banking Group. As of 30 September 2011, we manage funds worth £136.9 billion.

Purpose of role:

To manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and contribute to the maintenance of product related information and data for SWIP's Institutional and Wholesale Business Development teams.

Principal Responsibilities:

* To manage the RFP process in support of the development of SWIP's business across all distribution channels.
* Develop members of the team and manage their workflow and submission timelines.
* Manage and assess incoming search opportunities, requests for information and due diligence requests.
* Work with broader marketing teams ensuring cross-sharing of ideas and work produced.
* Evolve the current process for the RFP function as a whole, including engaging with the broader business and ensuring 'first in class' responses to all opportunities.
* Raise the profile of the RFP function within the business along with other teams within marketing.
* Oversee the maintenance of both qualitative and quantitative data in the RFP database and on consultant databases.
* Ensure compliance with all legislative regulatory requirements including SWIP guidelines standards and reporting requirements in order to reduce risk and operational loss for the Group.

Key Skills/Experience:

* Investment management and RFP bid process experience essential
* RFP experience within asset management and a good knowledge of principle assets classes (equities, fixed income, property)
* Excellent understanding of the Institutional and Wholesale Markets
* Hands on experience of the production of RFPs/questionnaires
* Consultant Database experience
* Excellent written skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with all parts of the business
* Analytical and data management skills
* TCF knowledge
* IMC Qualification
* Advanced MS Office skills
* Team Management experience
