Head of Risk & Compliance recruitment
Reporting directly to the COO, you will become an integral member of the senior management team, with responsibility for both corporate governance and developing along with implementing and embedding a comprehensive risk management system within the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Review, establish and support an effective management system, structure, reporting lines and process ownership throughout the business
• Analyse key risks for all existing business activity, develop and maintain sound risk and compliance management strategies and agree escalation procedures as appropriate
• Contribute to business strategy and ensure that risk planning is inherent in the strategic decision-making process and work with management to deliver adequate mitigating controls and actions
• Implement and deliver training for all employees to ensure there is a good understanding of risk and compliance issues across the business
To apply for this position you will:
• Experience and up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, Basel ll and FSA
• Have worked on projects to implement operational risk strategies within a financial institution
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills along with strong stakeholder management skills at senior level
• Hold proven ability to lead a teams through change implementation
