Head Risk Control.
Main responsibilities:
•to ensure full compliance with credit policies, to lead and ensure the credit analysis, credit decision and credit monitoring of credits within the region
•the effective and efficient support of the business partners
•a smooth, efficient and solution-oriented process management
•the risk-focused supervision of the credit portfolio
- ensures a professional support of the origination units in credit risk subjects within the Ticino region.
Main duties:
•Leading and managing a team of 6 Risk Officers
•To ensure:
- a consistent, effective, solution-oriented, risk-aware credit analysis and decision making process aligned with company credit standards (policies, procedures, work instructions, competences, etc.)
- an aligned and effective supervision and evaluation of the credit risk during its whole life cycle
- a professional support of origination in the structuring and implementiation of complex financing solutions
•Support of the team in the risk assessment of counterparties
•Own active participation in the credit decision process and structuring of solutions, in particular with large or complex transactions
•Fostering cooperation with origination as well as leading and representing Risk Control in the local Risk Committees
•Participation in clients' meetings on a selective basis
•Active participation in projects and initiatives by providing technical support on risk control subjects and issues
•Training and developing the team members
Requirements
- Swiss citizenship in the form of a B or C permit.
•Min. 3 years work experience as team leader in a similar role
•Min. 7 years work experience in credit functions, as well as strong background in banking and economics (university degree or equivalent is required)
•Fluent in Italian, English and German
•Excellent analytical and conceptual competences with great communication skills
