Head of Risk Management Asia recruitment
Responsibilities:
Manage the overall risks of the Company Asia business.
Design the risk management strategy by critically assessing the Asia business strategies, processes, products (including treasury) and services from a risk perspective (i.e. enterprise risk management)
Establish and implement risk management policies and controls with the objective of reinforcing a robust risk management culture
Establish a strong corporate governance framework so that Asia management can effectively discharge its oversight responsibilities over the bank’s business activities in the region
Formulate and implement appropriate and adequate risk measurement and reporting systems and independent oversight and control processes
Design and implement comprehensive and adequate written policies and procedures for the Asia business activities and the management of risks inherent in these activities
Monitor compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures through the conduct of process reviews
Conduct risk assessments and gap analysis to identify potential control gaps and areas for improvements in order to enhance the platform service delivery
Conduct incident investigations, identify preventive measures and monitor their implementation
Identify, report and resolve pertinent risk management issues including where applicable the appropriate risk and control limits, the reporting of risk positions and performance, capital requirements, accounting treatment and standards, and investigation and resolution of irregular or disputed transactions
Together with Management and Legal Compliance manage the relationship with regulators, internal auditors and external auditors
Prepare for the internal and external audits and regulatory inspections and act as primary liaison with internal and external auditors and regulatory inspectors
Requirements:
University degree with minimum 8 years of experience in financial institution.
