Head of Risk Management recruitment
Our client, an investment bank, is looking for a qualified candidate to head its Risk Management Department:
Responsibilities:
• Manage and monitor the risks exposure (including but not limiting to operational risk, market risk and credit risk) for the investment banking business.
• Work closely with senior management and managers across different business lines to develop and support risk management mechanisms.
• Conduct independent risk review on policies pertaining to significant risk areas.
• Analysis, design and develop risk profile, market risk modeling and methodologies.
• Provide risk analysis and risk evaluation via stress testing.
• Recommend strategy ideas and assess risk of new products.
• Prepare management reports / analysis and help determine appropriate action.
• Participate in risk management related projects as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree or above in accounting, financial engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in all-rounded risk management for investment banking industry.
• Good knowledge of investment banking products.
• Strong communication ability to interact well with management and business unit manager.
• Excellent financial and quantitative skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua Cantonese).
