Head of Risk (m/f)

Full time – Luxembourg city, Luxembourg

The Role:

• Responsible for building and implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation

• Manage the process of identifying and assessing the risks affecting the business

• Monitoring and challenging the success of the organisation in managing its risk.

• Overseeing the development and improvement of the plan of risk control actions and lead the development of risk methodologies and ad hoc studies.

• Contribute to the construction of an information system (development of a database of incidents, determine the process of capturing data etc.)

• Frequent interaction with the CEO and members of the Management Board

Your Profile:

• Fluent English is mandatory – Knowledge of either French or German would be a advantage

• Ideally 6 years experience with a strong background Risk Management,

• Have a degree from a leading Business School

• Have an understanding of the different types of risk organisations have to be aware of (credit risk, ALM risk, liquidity risk, operational risks, etc.)

• Experience within a managerial role would be advantageous as well as experience in a leading financial institution

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• You are a team player with strong communication and organisational skills
