Head of Sales and Trading Compliance recruitment
My client, a FTSE 100 organisation based in London, currently requires a Head of sales and Trading Compliance for their Capital Markets area. Responsibilities will include:
- The role is a senior leadership role within Compliance and will involve significant relationship development within the business and as well as front office staff. The successful applicant will also be responsible for the management and mentoring of a team of compliance staffThe individual will have the ability to manage stakeholders including the members of the Executive Board, senior management within legal, risk and compliance and to dictate regulatory policy and risk appetite across several key growth areas for the business
- The successful individual will be working hand-in-hand with the business to advise on regulatory and compliance related issues as well as ensuring the maintenance of a sound compliance environment, tested through daily action of the monitoring team
- The role requires a strong contribution to regulatory change initiatives impacting the business, providing compliance input to strategic decision making in response to regulation
- The successful individual will ensure compliance is involved early on in the design and structuring of new products, services and systems, to ensure that they meet regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards
- The position will involve both advisory services to front office staff members and strategic input into wider business growth.
Previous experience of working within a FTSE 100 organisation would be an advantage in the position.
