Head of Sales EMEA + AMERICAS- International Data Vendor; LDN Based (a) recruitment
Products include foreign exchange, sovereign fixed income, money markets, emerging markets, corporate bonds, structured finance, MTNs and Loans.
They are looking to hire a head of sales to coordinate the business development effort throughout EMEA and the Americas. You will be responsible for a team of account managers and associates and be involved with expanding this team further. Experience in real time data sales is essential.
The Role:
- Manage and develop the Sales Marketing operations and personnel.
- Coordinate the entire sales and business development effort for EMEA and the US- you will report to the MD of the company.
- Responsible for generating new revenue streams, areas of business development and product reach.
- Grow further revenue from existing accounts.
- Manage a team of sales associates and account managers- devise, maintain and monitor challenging targets/objectives for each team member.
- You will be involved with the recruitment of sales associates.
- Develop a strong understanding of fixed income and foreign exchange products in order to successfully market the firm’s services.
- Frequent travel will be involved to successfully manage both the EMEA and Americas sales teams.
Skills/Experience:
- Can demonstrate a strong understanding of data delivery methods, and can quickly grasp the firm’s product suite.
- Previous experience in developing a strong network of banking and corporate contacts.
- Previous experience working n a senior sale role for a real time data provider for the capital markets.
- Ideally you would have managed a team previously.
