Head of Service Quality, Qatar
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the level of compliance of retail banking branches to the laid down/approved policies and procedures. The incumbent will have the overall responsibility to evaluate the adequacy of controls in place over the day-to-day operations/activities or retail branches and determine the effectiveness of the same.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor anti-money laundering measures and KYC in line with the Group’s regulatory requirements.
- Overall responsibility for improving processed during the conduct of the Quality Control reviews in order to keep the operating costs as low as possible/improve efficiency of operations.
- Provide inputs for KPI, for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes, pertaining to the activities performed by the Retail branches and monitor their achievements on periodic basis.
- Discuss Quality Control reports with the relevant management on timely basis and obtain their responses including the target dates for resolution of the issues noted prior to issuance of the final report.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration with specialization in Banking and Finance, and/or Sales and Marketing
- Professional Certification such as CQIA and/or CQA.
- 10-12 years of related experience of which a minimum of which 3-6 years should be in a similar position in a bank in the GCC.
