Head of Singapore Financial Control (Financial and Regulatory Reporting), VP

Our Client is a well-know and established bank .The bank is presently looking to hire an experienced finance manager (at the VP level), with responsibility for managing the statutory financial and regulatory reporting function of the Singapore Branch. Leading a team of 15 (with 3 direct reports), you will be responsible for controlling and managing the financial reporting processes (including statutory reporting and MAS regulatory reporting) of the entities within Singapore to ensure that the bank meets its reporting obligations, both for internal financial controlling purposes (e.g. head office reporting and management reporting etc) as well as to external regulators.

You will also be expected to play a lead role in the identification and implementation of key initiatives that relate to system/ workflow enhancements, accounting changes and centralisation of the reporting processes.

To qualify, you should be degree qualified from the discipline of Accountancy with at least 8 years of post-qualification financial control experience in a banking environment. You should also be well-versed in the understanding and application of  accounting standards and control principles with good working knowledge of statutory or regulatory reporting requirements.
