My client, a leading agri trader and food producer in the US, are seeking an experienced physical soft commodities trader to join them in order to lead their trading desk.
Responsibilities of Head of Soft Commodities Trading, East Coast USA:
· Originating and trading a portfolio of soft commodities
· Developing and maintaining strong commercial relationships with producers, end buyers, and traders across the Americas
· Develop and implement business strategies in order to cultivate and maintain a profitable portfolio of suppliers, and customers
· Liaising closely with business development, management and risk teams
Skills required for Head of Soft Commodities Trading, East Coast USA:
· At least 10-15 years experience in physical soft commodities trading role
· Physical trading experience, ideally with an established market player
· A strong analytical and/or commercial background
· Be willing to be on the East Coast region, USA
· An established network which could be utilized would be preferable
· Knowledge of global commodities markets
· Willingness to travel.
