Description:
This position leads Trading Division's opportunity / acquisition analysis across markets, competitors and customers.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Develop forward-looking insights from markets, competitors and customers through both qualitative and quantitative research analysis
• Develop new top-line growth opportunities for the Trading Division. Together with Finance, model the financial impact
• Package and present the opportunities to persuade Division management to invest
• Support the Head of Strategy to deliver against all other requirements
Skills
Education and Experience:
• MBA degree required - emphasis on quantitative analysis, economics and marketing courses. Equivalent work experience will be considered
• 10-12+ of progressively responsible B2B marketing / consulting / investment banking experience
• Strong track record of generating new business opportunities
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise markets required
Knowledge and Skills
• Exceptional ability to create new insights from quantitative and qualitative data
• Substantial experience segmenting customers and developing differential strategies for each
• Skilled at managing large, cross-functional projects in a major corporation, preferably Thomson Reuters
• Ability to communicate persuasively and tactfully with all levels of management, co-workers and customers. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
