The role: Head of Strategy and Planning, Enterprise Sales Operations As the Strategy Planning Manager for Google's Enterprise business, you will be responsible for building a key practice area within the business unit relating to business strategy, planning analytics. You will personally drive key strategy and operations projects, as well as deliver annual planning and reporting, business analytics, vertical competitive analysis, and business intelligence to the Sales organization. The role will also include responsibiluty for driving the operating rhythm of a global sales organization as well as executive communication and strategic presentation. Strong candidates will demonstrate steady career progression with increasing scope of responsibility, superior business acumen, and proven ability to build compelling business cases. You will work on projects, presentations and analysis that require broad cross-functional coordination coupled with deep knowledge of the enterprise space. You will drive, produce and deliver effective models and analysis as well as compelling, narrative presentations to convey key conclusions and recommendations to various audiences, including Google executives, Enterprise leadership, and Sales Marketing teams. Responsibilities: * Identify, define and drive business processes/deliverables associated with strategic planning and business operations, including ownership over the operating rhythm of the business, Identify and lead cross-functional projects to optimize sales efficiency, improve business processes, and accelerate growth through analysis as well as operational execution. * Define and deliver analytics to support targeted selling, including vertical analysis, pipeline management, lead flow optimization, customer profiling, etc. * Structure and package analyses, strategies and recommendations into highly effective, compelling communication and presentations to various audiences, including senior executives. * Own and manage multiple strategic projects and work programs on both an on-going and an ad-hoc basis, working collaboratively across the global organization. Minimum Qualifications: * BA/BS degree. In lieu of education, 8 years of relevant experience. * Enterprise business management experience in sales, marketing and/or operations, including the ability to influence others and drive significant organizational and process changes. Preferred Qualifications: * MBA. * Excellent analytical, modeling and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgement and demonstrated project management experience from the technology, media, or finance industries. * Explosive energy and passion, a self starter who is willing to operate at highly strategic as well as very tactical levels given the start-up nature of the Enterprise business. * Superior communication and communication production (PowerPoint) skills, including the ability to take complex, ambitious topics and create compelling narratives for different audiences.
