HEAD OF STRATEGY / MARKETING STRATEGY / STRATEGY DIRECTOR / TELECOMS
This global communications company is currently recruiting for a Head of Marketing Strategy to translate corporate strategic direction into marketing strategies, to provide strategic direction in relation to pricing, acquisitions and in-life management for prepaid and post-paid individual customer segments.
As Head of Marketing Strategy you will be responsible for facilitating strategic definition process for the Marketing Group and ensure alignment with other Groups in particular Device Strategy and Portfolio Roadmap undertaken by Customer Group. Analyse current capabilities of products, services, offers, markets, trends, and customer needs. Conduct competitive analysis and identify gaps to handle unmet requirements and enhance competitive capabilities with input from Business Intelligence function. Define and enhance customer segment and channel marketing strategies. Develop and enhance positioning strategy and value proposition to align with overall corporate identity, including for micro segments with a focus on primary and secondary defined segments. Define strategy for products, services, and offers to communicate with customers and to drive sales through related channels working closely with Device Strategy and Portfolio Management function and develop, enhance, communicate, monitor, and review marketing strategies, including acquisition strategy, and ensure alignment with product and channel strategies (including Online).
To be successful in the role you have Bachelors or Higher in business, marketing, engineering or another related field. 12 + years’ experience in marketing/product development and or telecommunications experience preferred. Have a strong interest in technology or mobile marketing. Ability to lead cross-organization change/development. Proven high level of creativity and ability to innovate and build. Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and direct others and Solid strategic thinking and analytical oversight skills
