Head of Technology Risk and Control recruitment

Reporting to an overseas Head of Technology Operational Risk within the business, you will lead a team to:

Develop and implement a standard technology internal control review methodology
Develop a governance model that will monitor the effective implementation of the Internal Control Framework across all business and sites
Engage with Regional Operational Risk managers, business stakeholders, Internal and external audit and local regulators
Lead the Internal Control Teams in implementing the Review Methodology including development of annual review plans.
Implement the Group’s new Operational Risk and Management Framework covering Internal Controls
Reaching solutions to problems, balancing risk and local needs whilst ensuring that Group Policy and regulatory requirements are maintained.
To support business initiatives without compromising standards of internal control such that operational risk is not increased beyond accepted parameters.
To explore every possible opportunity to centralise internal control testing related activities

To be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate:

Solid managerial experience in internal control or internal audit within an investment banking environment.
Knowledge of internal control standards and best practices in operational risk management.
- Proven project / process management experience with a solid delivery track record driving change.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to a wide range of individuals and groups and at different levels of seniority.
- IT Audit or Information Security professional qualification such as CISA or CISSP
- Strong understanding and experience in Information Security, Access Management, Software Development Lifecycle, IT Change and Project Management, Incident Management, Controls over the development, administration and security of technology including UNIX, Windows, i-Series, Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL and Middleware.
