Head of Technology
As Head of Technology, what will you be doing?
- Coordinate the product development and roadmap from specs to tests, in collaboration with our Head of Product and lead developer.
- Data junky? You’re ready to organize the unstructured data of the world of international money transfers. API integrations, scrapers other exotic data sources... you'll see a ton of those.
- You'll work on a product that is scaling rapidly. Managing a quickly growing database and setting up a scalable cloud-based infrastructure with an obsession for performance is what you like.
- You'll also be working with our partners, leading the conversation with their technical teams to manage co-developments and integrations.
- The back-end is where you'll spend most of your time, but you are not afraid of getting your hands dirty on the front-end.
- When the time comes, you'll help recruit, develop and lead the technical team.
Main requirements
- A strong experience in web development:
- Expert PHP and MySQL skills
- Experience with API Integrations, scrapers and system administration
- Seasoned experience with HTML/CSS, Javascript and subversioning (SVN)
- Proactive attitude, self-responsible with a willingness to learn and the aptitude to adapt in a high-paced environment
- Excellent leadership, team-working and communication skills
- A passion for web products and a sense of purpose
- Basic business acumen and empathy for the needs of our users and partners
- Fluency in English
- Swiss, EU-25 or EFTA citizenship
Nice to have
- Some experience with Talend AWS
- Experience working in startups
- French fluency
- Swiss work permit a plus
