Head of Testing (EMEA) - Equities - Investment Banking
My top tier investment banking client requires an experienced EMEA Head of QA within Equities. The successful candidate will be responsible implementation and the strategic direction for testing services. Current team is around 35 tester and is likely to grow over the next 18 months ensure that applications continue to provide high quality solutions in an ever-changing market and increasing daily trading volumes.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute QA operating model encompassing a robust process, environment and test asset management
- Line management and further build of an effective team which will contain a mixture of on-shore and off-shore staff
- Engage with all QA stakeholders to refine and promote model
- Ensure QA staff are well trained in both testing and business topics
- Execute tailored QA across programmes, projects and minor enhancements work strea ms to deliver high quality software to the business
Requirements
- Previous experience of building, delivering and executing a strategic QA process in a financial environment
- Investment banking/Capital Markets experience and knowledge of financial products, strong Equities is a plus
- Previous experience of leading and growing a team, preferably with combination of on-shore and off-shore components
- Experience of integrating a testing function into an existing project or team which did not previously have a testing function and or experience of creating a test team
