Head of Trade Services/Trade Finance recruitment
Our client has a Corporate and Investment Banking arm which conducts a wide range of international financial services including sales, trading and distribution of debt market products, research, treasury, foreign exchange, money markets and derivatives. They also offer corporate finance, MA advisory, debt capital markets origination, securitization, and corporate and structured lending services. Additionally, they have unique strengths in cash management, international payments, wholesale insurance and employee benefits products.
There is now an opportunity for the right candidate to head up the Trade Services team, to oversee all staff within the department and be responsible in allocation of job duties. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational execution and manage resources in a cost-effective way. You will strive to maintain reasonable work load of all subordinates for efficient processing and conduct performance appraisal at year end.
It is important that you ensure the proper control is in place with all operational processes and ensure that the Bank's and relevant regulatory procedures and controls are adhered to. You will also ensure BCP/DR plans are updated, tested and implemented when needs arise.
You will have at least 8 years of relevant working experience in trade services/bills and is already in a supervisory position in order to be able to manage the team effectively.
