Head of Trading
The suitable individual will have previous experience in KL and an existing network in the region.
Responsibilities for the position:
- Assist in trading of physical soft and agricultural products, primarily coffee, across the Malaysia and SE Asian markets.
- Work closely with head of operations to develop the company’s presence in the region.
- Responsible for building and developing new clients and business activities for the company as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients.
- Work closely with board to develop strategy of developing presence in Malaysia and future expansion of the team.
Skills / Attributes required for the role:
- 6+ years of soft/agricultural trading experience, ideally in coffee
- Physical experience
- Established client base
- Experience in KL
- Regional knowledge
- Willing to locate in Malaysia
- Languages are advantageous
