Head of Transaction Banking – Operations recruitment
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accountable for all activities for the Unit, ensuring that such activities are handled as per laid down policies/procedures and any deviation/discrepancies noted are rectified and reported.
• Ensure, Anti money laundering, Central Bank Guidelines and other internal policies/procedures are strictly followed and any deviations are reported to levels prescribed.
• Keeping self appraised of development taking place in the industry and disseminate them to staff under direct and indirect reporting where applicable.
• Ensure self and staff adhere to Standard Operating Procedures of FGB at all times and recommend/implement changes in policies, procedures, processes and systems in line with development in the industry.
• Liaison and co-ordination with Transaction Banking Unit project team in understanding the requirement and support the First Business project in ensuring smooth implementation/transition and training to Operations staff.
• Manage and develop staff, assisting them with information/support in liaison and co-ordination with Transaction Banking Unit in conduct of UATs for the First Business project.
• Engage IT COPS-Units to identify/control/monitor technology dependent projects for effective governance.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and Business information to Internal and external authorities.
• Assist HO, Operations in implementation of overall Emiratization strategy to achieve mandated Emiratisation Targets.
• Sustain higher/acceptable rate of Employee Satisfaction in line with Bank Policy.
REQUIREMENT
• Graduate preferably (commerce).
• 10-15 years experience in Operations - transaction banking area, projects implementation risk analysis related activities with at least 5 years of which at a managerial position.
• Systems / Process exposure having knowledge on industry standards.
