Head of Treasury and Capital Markets
As Head of Treasury and Capital Markets you will formulate the business plan to grow the business areas within Treasury Capital Markets, FX, Marketable Securities and Funds. This position forms part of the senior management team at the bank and reports to the GM.
As part of this role you will:
- Formulate the business plan.
- Lead a team of experienced staff.
- Manage the mix of business and credit risk activities with affiliates and merchant banks, correspondent banks, multinational and institutional entities and fund managers.
The successful candidate should have a University Degree in either economics, finance preferably with an MBA. You should have at least ten years hands-on experience in treasury and capital markets management, extensive equity as well as fixed-income fund management experience.
You should also have a record of successfully developing, advising and servicing a client base. Candidates without GCC experience will not be considered. It is likely your current role will be Head, VP, EVP level specialising in Treasury.
